THE STORY OF THE RIVERHOUSE
In 2004, Jeanne and David purchased an undeveloped parcel of land along the banks of Georgia's Hudson River, and began a 15-year journey of master-planning the property — while designing and self-actualizing the building of their forever dream home.
Their first big purchase was a Kubota tractor. With this monster tool, David selectively cleared the land, while the family enjoyed camping along the river during all four seasons. After site preparation, they began the 7-year project of building their “loft on the river.” The result is a comprehensive representation of David’s design aesthetic and craftsmanship.
